(solved) usb device not recognised

this is great, a few days after os.3 installation and its been working fine but today i switch it on and for no apparent reason the pc says the usb device is not recognised.

cant even reinstall the os because of the bit where you have to unplug the usb cable then plug it back in and again it says its not recognised and no drivers installed.:confused:

thanks to another unrelated thread (from member splat) this looks to be solved.
holding down the exit key and plugging in the power put the virus in update mode making it recognisable by the pc and i reinstalled the drivers, all seems to be back to normal now.

edit: this may also simply be solved by unplugging the virus power then restarting it.
