Hello everyone,
I just joined and while searching for a problem I stumbled upon this so far so helpful forum.
I had one query though. I read the manual but mine does not say how to do this but basically my question is:
In the Virus control, there are 16 channels. When I play a a single channel and load a patch, it plays fine. But when I go to the other channels, select a different channel, it will not play. What I want to do is (in Ableton 7), play all multiple channels, select different patches for each channel and maybe even different notes for each channel, then hear it all on playback.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Sure, I've read through the documentation. Just can't see how to get any of the 16 parts that VC shows me to sound, except part #1. And I would sure like to know :-)

analyze the tutorial song! on other sequencers one can see how a multi timbral plugin is being set up, the one for live will do as well I guess

Getting there, thanks - I mean, i can use the tutorial as a template stright away in Cubase. Next I'll try and figure out the setup cos my Cubase knowledge ain't very sophisticated and I really onlyuse it as a composing tool or to get rough reference recordings done.
