alright everyone im new to the forum and need some help?

iv just got myself a virus C and iv got it working through my laptop but my query is how do i add new patches?
ie iv downloaded a manuel schleis soundbank and been thinkin bout getting the vengeance sound sets but have no idea at all how i go about adding them to the virus?

please please help

if you are using a sequencer, load the mid file into your favorite sequencer and play it.
Also, I believe you can use sound diver to load patches.

wicked cheers for that mate iv downloaded sounddiver and using that but this may seem like another stupid question but do you no how i use sounddiver to play the virus through logic? im using a macbook by the way if thats any help?

it's been a while since I have used a virus c and I never really used sounddiver rather I did a bunch of sysex dumps to and from my sequencer for patch management.

Now as far as playing the virus through logic, you wouldn't use sounddiver for that. Think of sounddiver as just a gui patch management utility that you use by itself. Logic is your sequencer that you would record your midi data into and playback through the virus (using the virus to generate your audio).

ok i understand what you mean there cheers mate, iv got a new problem with it now though when im trying to import the libraries iv downloaded for it it will only play the first one on the list and no matter which one i click on it will always go to the first and nothing else? i really dont have a clue what to do with sound diver is there anything else i can use i.e which program or sequencer software to just load these libraries and play them that is easier to use than this sound diver? its just im thinking of downloading the vengeance soundsets for my virus but dont want to end up spending a fortune on them only to have them not work and just stress me out to the point where i never use them and sell everything on ha ha!
