I'm a Ti Desktop owner and use Windows Server 2008 x32 Enterprize for my main operating system as it support 64Gigs of ram in 32bits and i use 16Gb of 'em in an 8core Xeon Dell Workstation. (basically it is a 36bit OpSys and costs 4000€s :)

Now my Virus works just fine with 2.5.1 firmware and software (with of course the known USB problems) but can't update to any newest one as the newly introduced control center is badly programmed.
Installation goes fine till the firmware update where it waits displaying "Scanning for devices..." or crashes.

Virus Control Center reports it as Unknown Device whatever I do.
Contacted access but they only suggested me to do the known parts (reset, change usb cable, revert to xp etc.)
Reverting to xp or vista is not an option as it is impossible to reinstall the huge amount of pluggins and leave my studio for at least a week.
The main problem relies on usb and Control Center

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated :D

Thank you in advance
Giannis

After many nights trying to figure the above... I FOUND IT!!!!

So now it also works with my great Server 2008 Workstation

I installed the software and upgraded TI's firmware on an XP machine
and copied the USBAUDIO.SYS (which apparently is newer) file from System32/Drivers to my Server08 installation same location
...AND IT WORKS!!!!

(Sorry for shouting but I am so excited) :D :D :D :D

That's it for excitement... :(
After some test the virus began to stuck with that awful digital white noise
and suddenly not work with Control Center grrrrrr

What the heck, back to 2.5.1

I also saw that it uses 73% of my usb. Is this ok?

Of course there is but it depends of the server8k version:

Maximum (32-bit systems):
4GB (Standard) or 64GB (Enterprise and Datacenter)
Maximum (64-bit systems):
32GB (Standard) or 2TB (Enterprise, Datacenter and Itanium-Based Systems)

So as you can see only Enterprize and datacenter versions of 32bits can see more than 4gigs
