Could somebody please check this out.
I am trying to figure out if the issue is happening only on my TI or not.
I ve got first generation TI keyboard with OS 30110.
Please TURN DOWN YOUR SPEAKERS FIRST.
Go to ROM-R13 Bonesnap M ( i am not using VC)
Browse through distortion type (e.g. from light to soft to hard etc..)
You'll hear a very loud digital distortion ALL of a sudden while you are browsing.
The lights will go off and come back again.
Thanks in advance.

My less than 24 hour old TI2 Polar went crazy on me too.
After updating to 3.0.1.15, my TI2 was going into edit mode at random but always in the modulation matrix edit page and kept selecting it's own sources and destinations! It locked the entire front panel and then froze completely, sometimes making the digital distortion noise too.
Just updated to 3.0.2.01 and it has thankfully been working fine since then. 8-)

I've posted several times before, but I really feel like I should add something:
With my TI2 unit, I can almost get a guaranteed glitch/crash, and I've now noticed that it comes every time after I connect the unit via USB to my computer. (I use my TI2 standalone only, and I connect only to update)
For example, with this latest update to 3.02.01, I didn't even bother to unmute my Virus mixer channel. I updated, then purposely loaded up a super heavy patch, and then just jammed on it for awhile. Sure enough, shortly after, the LFO LED's starting getting weird, and the unit crashed. But after 2 more reboots, zero problems now.
I started to think about why this is happening, and I remember that I set my Virus TI2's clock to 48khz sampling rate. Everytime I connect via USB, I think my TI2 tells me 'audio clock changed'. So maybe it's this little change that's disrupting the system's inner calm or something.
Anyway, what I do now is, whenever I connect to computer, I make sure I reboot afterwards before I can feel safe my eardrums don't pop.
This could all just be my imagination, but it is what's been happening to me so far.
