Just found this Youtube video in an old thread here....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fefd2rxl68 Watch!

I don't care for the bassline but I was really really impressed with how he used used the assignments to add and affect the verb. Really cool!

Now im at uni right now so i can't try it myself but is there anyway to assign an effects send (or any effect parameter for that matter) to note on/off?

Or

Link an effect parameters value to another parameter's value? Does that make sense?

Eg. If you sweep the filter cuttoff to 127 the reverb send will sweep to 127?

Surely you can do it in the matrix somewhere?

You sure can.
By selecting an LFO and choosing a waveform, you then program the matrix to send cutoff and reverb send to the same waveform. You can even select the matrix to trigger another LFO (2 or 3) to send different effects/parameters in a different waveform eg. Square Saw.

Thanks for the reply....

That would work but i wouldn't really help in a realtime performance.

I guess i just wanted to modulate multiple parameters from only turning one single knob.

Hint Hint nudge nudge Access!

Use the mod matrix to map almost any parameter to the soft knobs on the front panel, or any MIDI CC.
6 modulation sources can run 3 parameters each, so you could have a single control running up to 18 parameters.

Bonus: in the mod matrix the parameters can but don't have to be tied to each other, each parameter can have a different ratio.
Try using one parameter in the matrix to control the amount of another slot in the mod matrix.
