Hi guys,
I studied the manual, and I searched the forum, but either couldnt help me.

I´m creating my own patches like we all do, and after a couple of weeks my "MyPatches" in >Personal Libraries was full.
So I just created a new folder inside the Patches Folder, where all the others are, the once I downloaded from access and from soundlabz and so on.
I named that Folder >LoudnessPatches and saved the new patches to it.
No Problem loading it.
Then that one was full and I created a new Folder > LoudnessPatches2,
but it wont show up in VC. I renamed it 50 times, I threw out the other folder (thought I might have reached the folderlimit???), but nothing.
Does anyone know the "rules" for creating a patch, or folder, or librabry, or maybe how to erase a single patch out of a .mid File?
I´d like to share specific mid files, to upload them at soundlabz or share them with friends and you, but right now, I dont know how to create a "Sharefolder" that is detected by VC.

Thanks for help.
cheers

there is no special requirements or limit. a valid midi file is just fine. does the file show up when you move it out of the folder to the main directory where all the other patches are?

no, exactly thats the point, I tried saving it directly in the Mainfolder, but it wont show up...

what happens if you take your "my patches.mid" file inside that folder and you make a copy which you name "my patches2.mid" - do they show up?

Will a standard Virus KC Midi File work under the TI's framework?

ok, thanks marc, that worked quite well.
so I copied the my patches file and renamed it, restart the virus, restart cubase and it works. Now just one last question. Is there a way to delete manually patches out of a midfile?

ok never mind, sometimes try and error is the best option, i got it

make sure it is a FORMAT 0 midi file. vc won't read FORMAT 1.
