Good job...can you give us some hint about it? it just works without problems?
I'm planning to switch to Reaper but I was held by the "un-endorsement" by the Virus...

True, I was quite surprised about that also. The problem was if you EVER ever were lucky to load Virus Control in Reaper and saved the project - you never get it working again.

I use Reaper as main host and yes: Reaper manages to uses the VirusTI correctly.
the issue is that sometimes automations over the VirusTI can put the Virus to knees and make it start in crashing spree... (solution: reset and hope)
OS: 3.0.3... dunno if those crashes would happen in other hosts too (in FL doesnt seems so unstable but i dumped it out because of the missing PDC)

Maybe I spoke too soon, seems the timing in reaper might be off, also seemed a bit unstable after a few hours.

However the fact that reaper now loads the vst interface is great.

off for more testing.....

I use FL with VC a lot, no problem with delay compensation ever.

Well, you must doing delay compensation manually, then... the problem is when a project becomes big with many effect layers and sends over sends it gets kinda a problem.
Just as a test if you never did manual PDC in FL, you can try this:
a) make a kick sample so insert1 and in the pattern make it a 4/4
b) send insert 1 to insert 2 and insert 3 (and remove insert1 to master)
test1) play it... you hear both kick in sync... that's OK

c) in insert 2 put an effect that have latency (any maximixer, like L3, just for random example... but can be also a LinEq or a convolution reverb or a UAD plugin)
test2) play it again... you will hear now like "chivalry riding" kicks and they arent in sync.

solution: for each cannel, except the one with the effect, you have to put (manually) the amount of samples delay in the PDC field in each insert.

now, as in this case is kinda easy to solve it, with many inserts (i usually get over 40-50 inserts in use) and many effects (i use them a lot for mangle the sound) it becomes a TOTAL PAIN.

now, if you try, all what i told you before, in Reaper, you will get all in sync automatically. The example was about effects but for synths is same (the VirusTI in LIVE mode have delay of 512 samples)

i still love FL but actually i love Reaper more ^^

You're right. With simple routing it works fine, but when you send one insert with virus to another insert which is being send further, some inserts has delay compensation and some doesn't - it becomes a mess with no sync. Reapers here rules and I will move to Repaer when they have implemented FL-like Automation Clips.

I'm pushing on their forum since months for that, and seems something is moving finally! (ye, i love too FL automations!)

Hello guys! I'm using my TI Polar with Reaper. Could you please help me how could I set it up to just control the synth over the VST ? To be more exact, my RME soundcard is selected as the audio device. If I open up the total control VST, the polar goes to SEQ mode and the sound goes through USB (dunno why as RME is selected). All I want to achieve is that I can record the sound of my Virus (analog out or spdif) thorugh my RME and control the parameters with the VST as well as the with knobs. At the moment, I'm using my AMT-8 as a midi interface but I wouldn't mind using the USB midi of the virus if that would be the only way to my goal....

I'd appreciate any help...

Thanks!
