Hey all,

I'm almost 21 years old and I hail from Chicago. I've wanted a Virus Synth since I was 14 or 15. Finally dumped my old hobby (fixing cars) and went with my love of music.

I'm a computer whiz, if you will... Have an extreme love of electronics and computers. I suppose that's how I've fallen in love with electronic music because it just makes sense to me.

I've been making music since 1998 or so, back on FL Studio 2 or 3, I think. I still use FL, and I know a lot of people think it's a crappy DAW, but whatever - I learned it pretty well so I stick to it.

Just bought a Virus TI Snow, spent a lot of time getting around the 64-bit driver incompatibility but I got it all fixed last night with a dualboot setup.

The Snow sounds great, and I'm using a AKAI MPK25 to control it, studio monitors are KRK Rockit 8 Generation 2's - which I highly recommend. Have a monster rig, Intel I7, 6GB DDR3, custom built.

Hope to become a useful member of this community. :D

Cheers,

Mike

Hey Mike, welcome. :) Electronics and music, do you combine the two and do a bit of circuit bending and stuff then?

Congrats on the Snow!
