Hi all

hoping someone knows someone who can help.

have a Roland MC505 and has a couple of small issues.

One the LCD is a little messed up so needs replacing.
Two needs a general srvice as the sliders do jump a little.

Admittedly its about 10 years old but I love it and its been acting as a midi module rather than its full potential.

I love this unit but have failed to find a 'quality' repairer in my area. Did contact Roland and they referred me to two = company that held it for 4 months (no charge) but didn't have the tools or right components to fix it.

From what I can see (the repairer referred me to this) is a YouTube link where you have to clip some mounting internally and fix an alternative LCD. :( Something I am not confident in doing....I imagine/hoping the slider issue is just contacts.

Can anyone help in the southern UK area.

Many thanks

Hi Rotton

Yep that is what I have been told, in fact search YouTube and there is a video showing this...I am not that brave, experienced or confident with a cutter/solder iron :/

But thanks for taking an interest :)
