Just got my a Virus TI2 desktop. No sounds work in single mood. Multi mood is blank
The synth seems to work fine. Demo song works. I can hear the preset sound in multi mood and edit it. However, all the patches in single mood don't work. I can see the names of the presets, but when I play notes, I hear nothing. What do you guys think the problem is?

Got volume knob turned up..? Are you using Outputs 1 and 2?

Yes, I'm using output 1/2. I do have the volume turned up. Like I said, I can hear the demo song. And I can play in multi mood. It's just the single mood that isn't working. I got a funny feeling it has to do with a little sticker that was on the box that said "DEMO". I'm feeling... SCREWED

Have you tried doing the ARP EDIT reset to see if that helps at all?

I tried updating the OS. That didn't work. I tried holding edit/arp on. But it didn't do anything. Is there a third button I have to hold?

OMG I THINK IT WORKS!!! THANKS SO MUCH!!! I wonder if the fact that this is a demo model means anything at all is compromised?

Pretty much.

Synth, you may just need to wait and see if it occurs again? I think I have had the Polar not play notes once before, and the ARP EDIT fixed that up. It's definitely a temperamental beast.

Sorry for all the grammatical errors. I was just in a rush to get this thing running. I was too excited! Thanks again for the tip.
