Question about Cutoff 2 Control

Hi all,

ok so I'm trying to automate control of Virus TI in Cubase 5, basically you have to choose the softknob... so I don't know what the label is for automation control of "CUTOFF 2"

I tried all the softknobs but nothing can automate that knob... any ideas?

Hi, on the Virus B, the Cutoff 2 knob is MIDI #41.

Why are you trying to use a soft knob to control Cutoff 2? Why not just use the Cutoff 2 knob itself?

nah its ok i figured it out, thanks though

but im using the virus TI not B, and i need to control the cutoff 2 knob because it doesnt do it automatically in cubase while you push the "record" button... so you have to assign some knobs in the virus ti controller :)

but i did it another way now, just put up all the filter envelope up to full except the release and attack, then i use regular cutoff and env amount.. works the same 'cuz now i can automate those two :)

Glad you found a workaround. Only mentioned the Virus B as I assumed the MIDI control change value would still be the same for TI as it was for the C and B.
