God Bless YouTube...

Found a cool Russian synthpop band called Telsa Boy (maybe im the last person on the planet to know about this?) and they use analog synths...mostly the roland juno 60

This band would have done well in the 80s.I've listened to their other tracks and I can say that they are good.However,I think most of the crowd they would attract would be baby boomers, those who were they in the 80s :). If they can add a bit of 21st century flavor then they would do better.

Just my one cent worth.

Agreed, very retro 80's sound. I like the 80's sound personally but you kind of have to be Gen-X or older or a hardcore synthhead to appreciate it. For whatever reason, creating 80's sounding synthpop comes very easy for me so it takes a lot to impress me.

One song I heard the other day is "Living On Video" by Trans-X. I heard that on satellite and it reminded me now badly I need to do a more modern trance remix of this song (currently in progress-- man this song is fun to work with :). I just gotta figure out how to work the rez-laser sounds into a modern remix.. lol
