Virus TI2 Out of Sync in Cubase 5

It seems the more voices I use the more and more out of sync it becomes, and no matter what I do it just won't stay in sync with the rest of the song. I have to unplug and re-plug it in in order to even get sound out of it sometimes. When I use the synth with Cubase 5 is says "Configuring Virus TI," but then it doesn't even say "USB" in the top corner anymore after it's done. Sometimes the sound works, and sometimes it doesn't. I have to reboot the virus every time this happens, effectively slowing down my workflow. Talk about a huge fail. Is it just me or does the Virus TI fucking SUCK?

Dont have a solution for you, but I have the problem with the usb words missing as well in cubase. If I have been working on somthing and then save my project and re open it later on, my virus wont be avalible anymore and says about the midi driver failed etc. I have to do this ..... Press F11 remove the virus ti plugin then in the slot I removed it from...add the plug in again. "Do you want to create a midi track ? " ....Nope becuase I already have one from my last session. Go to the midi track I had used with the virus before and select "virus ti midi in" Which I know is wrong but it does not give me the option to select the correct one anymore. Then all is well and good but must make sure to save my patch I was working on becuase it will go back to "init" Then all is good...until I decide to quit working and save my project. Yes I have reinstalled and tried all the resets but still seem to get this problem.........Weird thing is, it dosent always happen.

Get a new USB cable and see if it helps, I used to have a lot of errors until I replaced the packaged cable with a new one.
