virus snow / ableton 8 / windows 7 64 bit

hi,

got a new pc and the virus installs but ableton wont recognise it (the ti control loads up within ableton but says it cant find it)

i'm using ableotn 8.1.3 with virus snow + windows 7 64 bit

as ableton is a 32bit applicaiton do i have to run it in 32bit?

any advice greatly appreciated!

You'll have to uninstall the x64 version of Virus Control and install the x86 one. Win 7 x64 is perfectly capable of handling 32-bit applications and plugins, but a 32-bit application cannot possibly run a 64-bit plugin.
