Hi everyone.
having only old synths from mid 90 / 2000 years, I 'm very excited to discover the world of nowadays virus.
I'm planning to buy a second hand virus TI, but i wonder if it is possible to have it reset to 100% factory state, beacause the access faq says that the factory reset "does not include factory sounds or banks."
I just want to avoid the error of buying a used ti with screw up patch bank !
Thanks.

Hi factory backups for ti1 and ti2 are included when you install the virus software on your computer.

Thanks for your answer.
I downloaded it yesterday on my mac (virus ti software 4.02.1) but when i click on the "patches" folder it points to the documentation folder instead so it was not clear for me.
I've read there are RAM patches and ROM patches. Are the ram ones restored by the OS update too ? Perhaps the question doesn't make sense, but for the price, i feel a little nervous of receiving a machine with scrambled banks.

In amusing your looking in the applications folder? Look in your system drive/library/app support/access music/virus ti
all the files should be in there.

Yes thanks for your comment : the patches are here !
By the way the ram folder for the TI is... empty ! But perhaps were they only the same as the rom one, or perhaps that another OS version contain the original RAM patches.

Ah yes thinking about i think i had the same problem a while back. If you contact access support they will send you the .vtifiles you need to restore all the patches through the virus control app.
Nothing to worry about buy that virus :p.
