Tips for upgrading from TI to TI2

This is probably a silly question, but just want to be sure...

I'm replacing my TI keyboard with a TI2 desktop. I wont lose any sounds will I? They are all installed on my laptop, and it's the software that drives the Virus correct?

Just want to be sure before selling my keyboard.

Anything else to be aware of?

You won't lose any sounds as long as you make a backup from them so you can load them back into your TI2 desktop.
