I just got a used virus classic desktop with the 4.9OS installed on it. I was trying to follow the programming tutorial in the manual but my virus doesn't have a single INIT or START patch anywhere. I checked every patch in every bank and nothing. I even changed the battery out and had it restore factory sounds to bank A, B, and multi.

How can i get a INIT or START patch so i can follow the guide and learn how to program this thing?

Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can offer.

Hi, on my Virus Indigo, the -Init- and -START- patches are C126 and C127 respectively.

Yes i've looked through all patches in every bank and there is no INIT or START patches.

Is there a way i can upload a INIT or START patch into one of the banks? where would i download one of those patches?

Just exported a copy of the Init and Start patches for you. :)

Use SoundDiver or similar to upload them to the Virus.

Warning: Back up all of your current set of patches beforehand. I think the Init and Start patches will be uploaded to patch locations B126 and B127 respectively (and will therefore overwite those patches) as that's where I placed them prior to exporting, but please make the back up of all your patches prior to doing so in case they are uploaded to another location.
