Hi Guys,
I've just recently bought a second hand Access Virus C, which is pretty nifty to play with.
Ofcourse, I'd like to integrate it into my existing Studio setup.
This is my first Hardware synth so I'm a bit confused on how to connect everything properly.
The manual I got with it doesn't really explain much about cabling.
So, for the moment, I have my MIDI keyboard connected to the MIDI in of the Virus and the MIDI out is connected to the MIDI in of the M-Audio Fast Track Pro.
When I plug my headphones into the headphone jack on the Virus, I get sound, but when I plug 2 TRS cables from the OUT1 (on the Virus) to the TRS inputs on the back of the M-Audio Fast Track Pro, I don't get any sound out of my monitors.
I read somewhere the the TRS inputs on the back of the M-Audio are not meant for this, instead I should use the XLR input on the front.
Now, the question is, what exact cable to I need?
Do I need an XLR male to dual TRS (for the 2 outputs on OUT1 on the Virus C?) or do I need an XLR male cable to TRS (so one output)?
This is a bit confusing.
Also, where can I find the sound driver software for the Virus C for Windows 7? I can't seem to find that anywhere.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to make this all clear to me.
Cheers,
Ryan.
