I had a Snow, and just sold it. I also just ordered my replacement Virus, a TI2 keyboard model. I use Logic 9 and heavily use the Virus Control plugin. I'm wondering, is there an easy way to migrate my songs from using the Snow to using the new keyboard? I know you click and hold on the Virus instrument, and you can switch between stereo out and multi out, and it will carry over the patches when you switch between those 2, but will it do anything like that going from the Snow to the full TI2 model? Or is there some kind of equivalent? As it is, if I open one of my songs in Logic, the Virus plugin just comes up and says no hardware found, with the error screen, and doesn't give me any access to the patches.

You reinstall the whole plugin and replace it in your projects with the one for the "full" Virus. Since they're two different plug-ins Logic can't do it on its own, but in some DAWs it's very easy to do it yourself with a couple of clicks.

Yeah, but when you do that, will the patches come over to the new AU plugin?

That I don't know. You'd be better off e-mailing support to get a sure answer

Any luck?
Access reallt should make a universal VC plugin, for all TI models...
I own a Snow too and have the same problems with my friends TI project files...
