View Full Version : Windows 7 64 + Cubase 5 + Ti sync issues ?

I've just installed windows 7 64 bit and cubase 5 64 bit, along with the virus ti drivers and expected it to play nice.. I was a bit wrong.

Midi Sync..
The virus plays fine via the "virus synth" midi input , then as soon as I turn the sync options on to send sync via midi the timing really messes up.

Virus Control..

Tries to load but freezes before it reaches opening the browser page.
I can play notes via the virus synth and even sequences and the virus plays them but I can't go into the software and adjust any virus settings.
A strange thing is that when I try and click any of the tabs, it doesn't register and clicks the next tab (or even the next after that) to the right.

Bizarre stuff

Anyone help ?

I'm using the virus as the audio interface too by the way.

[It worked fine when I tested it with a cracked Windows XP 32bit and cracked Cubase 5. Now I've went out and purchased a genuine windows 7 64bit and genuine cubase 5 and it fails. sods law :(]

Just tried 32 bit cubase , the midi sync works but virus control still hangs as soon as its updated all the sounds.

update:

Just installed windows 7 32 bit, changed USB cables , swapped USB ports , tried PCI card USB ports, fresh Virus OS install; still no joy and doing the exact same thing.

Is there anything else I can try before I'm forced to go back to dodgy cracked software versions ?

For your entertainment, here is a video of said strangeness!

err thanks for your help :P

sorted .. it was windows 7 enlarge icons/text making the text larger but the actual VC frame size remaining the same.

I think I sorted the funny sync issues too , it's down to looping the data due to the multi virus midi ports.
