+1 for this question.

i wonder if it's a bug that it's not really linked to the vowel filter...

You automate FREQSHIFTER FREQUENCY ;)

Don't understand the question - you assigned freqshifter freq to an envelope; is this envelope triggered by something? Is freqshifter MIX up?

I think he means that when u link the frequency shifter to an envelope through the matrix, there is nothing happening...no modulation occurs...

@ Definity - try using the LFO in ENV mode to do this...the Filt and Amp Env should be able to do this..but it does not seem to work...the LFO works in ENV mode to modulate the Freq Shifter...

Thanks nutrinoland - this does seem the case on OS 4.5.0.16. I'm reporting the bug right now.

Confirmed as not a bug:

hmm thats interesting...envelopes apply to voices and effects apply to only whole parts..

does this mean that if there are x number of voices used to create a patch, there are that many envelopes being generated for it...all controlled by one main Envelope Generator ..

if I am not mistaken..a single voice of polyphony means one single note, so a chord uses multiple voices and each of the notes of the chord has an individual envelope, all controlled by a master envelope...

i guess it would be too processor intensive to have individual control over the individual envelopes of the voices....

anyway..that answers the question...thanks... :)

Single voice = single "instance" of a note: if you have 2x unison on your sound you're actually using two voices for every key pressed

I though it was strange to have the envelope not control the FS Freq but it makes sense knowing that it would change the whole part's sound for every envelope triggering instead of every single voice's sound
