Virus TI Keyboard dead LCD backlit

suddenly the LCD backlite on my virus TI desktop is dead.

The LCD is still full visible but not rear led light...

Any advice in how to proceed?

I know this thread is really old, but my backlight has died too! anyone know how to fix it? I'm pretty good at soldering.
