I have just bought the great Alan Marcero TI soundest but am unsure where to put the files so that my virus can use them?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

If you're on a Mac...
/Library/Application Support/Access Music/Virus TI/Patches

If you're on a PC
C:\...\My Documents\Access Music\Virus TI\Patches

If you're on a Mac and know a bit of UNIX...

mkdir ~/virus
mv /Library/Application\ Support/Access\ Music/Virus\ TI/Patches ~/virus
ln -s /Users/yournamehere/virus/Patches \
/Library/Application\ Support/Access\ Music/Virus\ TI/Patches

Then you can just work in your own ~/virus/Patches directory.

I strongly recommend creating sub directories for each Patch set. It really helps keep track of what they are, and as you collect them you will find a few that don't work out of the box...
../Patches/001_Zeno
../Patches/002_BenCrosland_1999
../Patches/003_etc.

Ones that don't work will ether show up as an empty set, or not show up at all.
If you post a request to fix a patch set, some of us would be happy to help if we can.

P.S. You should be able to get to 074 with just patch sets just from virus.info. As of a few days ago it's possible to get all of them working.

One might add, it's at "Macintosh HD /Library/...", not at "Macintosh HD/Username/Library/...", where I added them and wondered why they don't appear.
Looks like there's two identically named folders on some macs ;)
