I have great admiration for Zebra2, so I had to try the beta of this.

It sounds fantastic to my ears -- not just another softsynth. But I would really appreciate any feedback from those of you who have a Virus and are in a position to compare the sound of it side-by-side to the Virus. I would just like to know how it compares since I do not have a Virus in front of me at the moment. To my ears it sounds every bit as crunchy as I remember my Ti2 sounding (from memory of course). It is a CPU hog as the author states, but if I get a Ti2 again I will just be bouncing down to overcome latency and polyphony issues, no reason I couldn't do same with this.

The beta has no restrictions (noises, clicks pauses etc) through end of December. Please download it, try it and share your thoughts. Its dead-easy to program, the learning curve is nothing like Urs other products.

Just wanted to clarify, I have absolutely no affiliation with the creator of this synth, and the above is not an attempt to advertise / shill the product.

I am genuinely looking for subjective feedback on how you think it compares to the sound of your Virus (preferably using the same signal path).

Surely a couple of kind souls would be willing to try this? It takes all of five minutes to download the file and drop it into your plugins folder and they have both windows and osx plugins.
