As far as i am aware you can only hook up one at a time for virus control. What you would have to do, I believe, is have one on the Virus Control andthe second as a midi (5pin din in.out) connection in a chain.
In other words standalone :)
Personally i feel, for the money, theres a lot better ways of expanding your setup and introducing a broader spectrum of sounds to your rig :)

This is possible with 2 Virus TIs'.I hooked up 2 MK 1 polar and Keyboard Viruss'.You will get 2 Virus controls in your daw.I got 1 for the polar and one for the keyboard.Completely independent. What you have to do is run the OS software. When it asks to plug virus(or viruss').You plug them both in to your computer through usb and then click ok.The computer will update both synths at the same time.Load up your daw after and you will see a choice in your vst selection for VC 1 or VC 2.
