Hello, my friends!
I need know how record Virus C in Ableton Live 8.

So, I make 16 midi channels and add External Instrument in Ableton. I select channels at multisingle mode, Virus plays nice at realtime!
But I dont see audio signal.
In my E-MU 1616 PatchMixDSP I was add strip IN 1L|R channel.
Then I add audio channel at Ableton and select Input as 1|2.
And then I see that Ableton receive audio signal.
And I hear sound with latency. Two audio threads plays simealteniously.

But how right make audio record in Ableton without latency?

Hi, if you hear your Virus with latency maybe you could adjust latency buffer size in audio preferences to 3.5 milliseconds.

See image, try and let us know.

When I play without Ableton audio track its no latency.
My E-Mu 1616 soundcard support 9 ms at minimum range.
When I set 3.5 ms in Ableton my audio clips (Drum Loops) stay play async and with latency. But Virus plays with 2 audio tracks similateniously.

Set your latency to the minimum your soundcard can handle without latency.
If your Virus plays 2 tracks maybe you armed 2 tracks at once or you got 2 Virus multis with the same midi channel.

If you still got latency i think you must change your soundcard.

Yes, 2 tracks plays at once - 1st from Ableton Mixer, 2nd from PatchMixDSP Mixer of card. How to set up right it?

What's the problem? Where do you get your monitor out? You should have your audio card as the main computer audio out, so the mixer in Ableton should be the same thing as your card mixer output, not 2 different outputs.

are you running a midi track in Ableton out to the virus and then audio back in? If so, adjust the midi sync clock delay, in the midi sync tab in preferences, until you dont hear any latency.
