Hello,

I have an issue using the Octatrack/Virus TI Snow.

1- I am connecting using one midi cable my Octatrack to a virus TI snow.
2- I launch a midi sequence from the Octatrack,
3- The Virus TI SNOW is sending me some strange & strong audio noize!
4- I tried in Multi and Single mode... same behavior.

Now if I connect my VIrus TI Snow to a computer (using USB ),
- I launch the VST of the virus TI snow,
- I change my outputs to OUT L+R , then,
- I disconnect my Virus form the computer...
- I launch a midi sequence from the Octatrack and then ..
- the virus sends me back nice sounds!

cool but I want to avoid to use my laptop.. I want to switch on my Octatrack, my virus and I play!

Do you have any idea why I get thoses strange & strong audio sounds?
Thanks!!!

for your info:
If I put my virus TI snow asleep and awake it... then the strange
audio noises comes back :-( I have to plug my virus to a computer!

Hellloo!

I found the issue.

The virus was sending some weird noizy sounds because I had the INPUT Thru + BOOST at the MAX Level while I was not connecting anything into the INPUT L+R of the virus.

Once I have disable the Input Thru / or / I reduce the boost to zero... the weird sounds disappear and let the space for NICE SOUNDS!!!

:-)
