Using the TI2 and running a signal through it simultaniously?

I would like to use my midi controller to play my virus AND play another keyboard through it and use the effects of the virus... I will NOT be using my computer with it though...

So basically I need to set it up without the virus control plugin...

What would be the best means of doing this?

Switch to Multi mode, use one part for playing, one for input processing.
