Virus TI can't be found :-(

Hello, all ...

My Virus TI keyboard worked a couple of days ago, but now Virus Control can't find it. I've tried resetting the device, replacing the USB cable, even trying it with another Mac. Nothing has helped :-/

It started when I upgraded to OS 5.0.3, but i'm not sure if that is really the issue -- correlation != causation. I'm in San Francisco, but I _could_ drive it down to Los Angeles (the nearest authorized repair center) perhaps next weekend. Before I do that, I want to see if anyone here could offer other helpful tips that might resurrect my favorite synth. Is there some mystical, magical 12-finger-button-pressing head-standing hop-on-one-foot-while-chanting-to-the-Access-gods incantation that i'm not aware of?

Did you try to install. the OS which you had before and was working fine...?
If not download it from the Acces site and install. this over the current version : http://virus.info/page/render/lang/en/p/25/do/Downloads_user_manuals_and_additional_patches_for_the_virus_ti.html

I had the same problem with my Access Virus TI today. Did try to restart the synth and the computer. Did also try to do some other easy things as starting the virus while holding down the edit arp button.

It might be as you say.. That is't not really the Virus causing the problem.


Anyhow.. What I had to do was to reinstall the OS on the virus (or in my case update the OS). Perhaps it would work if you reinstall the OS?
