Virus C Desktop - Advanced Menu Mode

I remember reading somewhere in the Virus C's owner/reference manual a while back that there is a way to activate "advanced" mode (for lack of a better term - I'll post a quote when I find it).

Is there such a mode, that gives more menu options and parameters to change ?

Are there any parameters (ie, sysx) that are not accessible through the menus
(maybe this "advanced" mode gives access to these, if they exist) ?
