virus C...Banks E-H disappeared

i was burning bank A -> H from the hardware and when the process ended banks E, F, G, and H were gone.
(i was left with only banks A-D)

how do i retrieve those banks?

I dont have a 'C' but I'm sure that the banks A-D are RAM banks which you can save any patch into. The rest are ROM that you need to actually burn patches into using the VC app. You dont have to burn to the first 4 so maybe that's what is causing the issue. Re-install the factory pre-sets from Access's site if you need the A-D ones, as for the others, they are probably gone. Re - burn from the original midi file's. I have pretty much all of them if you need...PM. ;)

I can't figure out how to use Cubase to burn the total restore MIDI file that Access emailed me.

can you help me in this regard?

i've also read you can do it via the Windows Media Player but that too didn't work for me.

I did my system restore with it and it worked.
