Virus ti audio input signal out of time with host daw

Hi, I'm using the audio input on the ti.
The signal from my moog is about 30 or so milliseconds late to play through the speakers. I'm able to just move the midi part back to compensate but this presents other problems when adding swing to the midi part etc from my host daw(cubase). How and where are the settings to alter this timing issue on the virus to compensate this delay.?

Pretty sure that the latency isn't being produced on the Virus! Must be somewhere else, may be your audio interface, or midi interface that's causing the latency. Unless something's wrong with it, if you feed it with audio, you shouldn't notice any latency at all. So check the rest of your setup for the weak part, 'cause I'm willing to bet it's not the Virus at all. Cheers

Ok, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I need to synchronize cubase midi clock and the moog minitaur. I've tried lots of options but it doesn't seem to change it atall.

Any suggestions on this ?

Try to change your buffer size, decrease it. That's going to reduce the latency while making the system struggle a bit more. Do that even if just for recording. Otherwise, you can record stuff and then compensate for latency using typical (many times integrated into the software) software delay with a negative amount, then bounce it down to audio again.

EDIT

1. RME interfaces are known for their very short latencies, but they're kind of expensive as well.

2. you wouldn't happen to own a euro rack, would you? in case you do then check Expert Sleepers, as something like ES4 + ESX-8MD would have a much tighter timing then normal midi interfaces, to the point you can't tell a difference from that and sample accurate.
