I’m having some issues with my Virus TI2 desktop where notes seem to «jitter» (notes are off its grid) and I cannot figure out where the problem occurs. First setup so you get an idea of that:
Macbook Pro M1
FL Studio
Motu 828 (2024) soundcard
Midi from soundcard to outboard gear
Analog out from outboard gear to inputs on soundcard
Hardware synths: Virus TI2, Waldorf Blofeld, Novation Mininova
Virus is running in «single mode»
Buffer size: 128 samples
48 khz
If I for example send a 16-note midi pattern at for example 138 BPM in FL Studio to the Blofeld and the Mininova, I do not get any jittering notes. The Virus, however, jitters noticably. I will provide an audio example tonight to demonstrate the issue.
Any idea to what may be causing this, or where I should start to troubleshoot? Could it be daw-settings, settings on the virus, should battery be changed…? Appreciate any insight or ideas that may help me figure this out!
