Hi chaps, just announcing some stuff for sale before I put it on eBay.

Access Virus TI Snow £675 (£15 P&P)
Awesome little beast, and less than a month old. It comes AS NEW and under warranty, and has not yet been registered with the Access site (which you need to do to access their forum, software updates, etc). It was bought from Sounds Live in Newcastle (bought it in-store rather than on the web) and it's literally been opened, turned on, tried out, then put away again. Reason for that is my bandmate got hold of a TI Polar at roughly the same time, so we're using that instead.

It even comes with all the stickers :D

Roland JV-1010/PSU/manual £125 (£10 P&P)
Roland SR-JV80-02 Orchestral expansion £60 (£5 P&P)
(or both for £175 + £10 P&P! If you buy both, you'll get the expansion inside the 1010 )
The JV-1010 is very well known. For the price and its size, it's an awesomely powerful sound module, with 16-part multitimbrality (parts accessed by MIDI channels 1-16) and per-part effects. Though people rarely need to adjust the patches, the amount of parameters that can be adjusted is astonishing (see the HUGE manual for details)... But the nice thing about the JV-1010 is that you can plug it in and get instant TV/Movie soundtrack stuff with a quick button-press. The 1010 has the famous 'Session' board built-in (essentially one expansion for free, alongside the default patches) and I'm also selling the highly-acclaimed Orchestral expansion, which I've used for lots of convincing orchestral sections in my work. I'm upgrading to some very expensive, bloated and hopefully ridiculously high-quality sample libraries, but the JV-1010 would be a really cost-effective workhorse for whoever buys it.

Novation Supernova II Keyboard £550 (£20 P&P)
Very good condition, latest OS, one of my favourite synths ever. Fatar-built keybed is beautiful to play - the quietest action of all my keyboards. Integrating this into your setup is easier than ever thanks to the Ctrlr software that I made for the Supernova II and almost all parameter tweaking can be done from a VSTi inside your DAW. If you want to get hands-on, though, it's got loads of knobs, faders and buttons and is great fun for tweaking. All knobs, buttons and faders work perfectly. The SNII comes in the original box/polys with the manual and a power lead.

Why am I selling? Reason for selling the Snow is explained; the rest is mostly because my wife and I are starting a family and need the money (and the space). I'd rather keep all the hardware I've ever owned, of course, but sometimes you have to let go...and I'd rather this stuff went to good homes, hence eBay is a last resort.

These prices are cut a little compared to eBay, where BuyItNow prices will all be a bit higher.

P&P is for within the UK; while I'll consider shipping abroad, you'll have to ask me to quote for shipping to your country. Feel free to suggest couriers, as long as we can get the stuff delivered safely.

Want to make an offer? Worth a try I can't move too much on the prices, but let's see... Any questions, just ask them and I'll do my best to answer satisfactorily.

Thanks for reading!

I then hit the main patch edit button and turned the second output on with "output 2 L" selected and the balance around 65. i then hit the effects edit button and turned the input "in L" on. I have also tried the "aux L". i have also tried the settings "dynamic", "static", and "send to effects".

Due to there not being much information about the Virus Ti2 on the internet I'd like to ask a few questions that I need answered. I'm buying my virus sometime in the next few months (around november) and I'm wondering what all the fetures it has. I know it has a vocoder but how good is it? Also how many patches/sounds does the virus have built in?

For now my main synth is the microKORG but it's time for an upgrade so I'm going for the best. I'm not a complete noob when it comes to synths due to messing around on minimoogs from time to time and playing the heck outta my microkorg. Anyway, I hope you guys can give me a few answers and some details on what the virus actually sounds like.

Also... I posted this in another thread but... In the song "Timothy Where Have You Been" there's a choir sound that starts in at about 38 seconds into the song... Can someone please confirm its a sound from the virus?

Thanks for a great forum. Hopefully someone can help me out with a (2) problems.

It seem like I have two problems.

1. I opened the tutorial song for Sonar provided Cakewalk. When I hit play I see the midisignal in Sonar (please check attached picture).
However, there is no sound. It seem to me that the routing is correct I can hear other sound (VSTi like V-station). Any ideas?

2. I start a new project and try to insert a Virus TI softsynth. I insert and begin to load. however, the starting process stops. Please see attached file. I have tried to restart both the virus hardware and Sonar DAW. The Virus is set to Sequencer mode. Any ideas what to do?

BWT - I can play the Virus in Ableton Live 8 LE

I use Windows 7 x64.
I use the 4.05.01 software in the Virus.

Hi all,

This is a new version of an old piece of mine. It actually started out as my first and only attempt to write some trance, but it kind of subverts the genre, I think.

http://alonetone.com/danielb/tracks/new-expression-2010

It is the first piece I have ever done in Ableton Live, which I started using a few days ago. I am still climbing the learning curve, so I would appreciate any feedback.

It is played on:

Access Virus Rack
DSI Mopho
Oberheim Matrix 1000
Messiah
Memorymoon
Various samples and loops.

I run Cubase 5.x and am thinking about getting a TI2 desktop to go with my Motif.

The Motif can appear in Cubase as a VST when hooked up via Firewire. The Firewire gives the Motif multiple channels of MIDI and audio and essentially turns the Motif in to a big sound card.

While I would use the analog audio outs of the Virus (to go in to the Motif) I assume in order for the TI2 to appear as a VST in Cubase I would have to hook it up via USB? Is it possible to have Cubase (or ANY DAW for that matter) recognize BOTH the Motif FW MIDI I/O AND the Virus USB MIDI I/O @ the same time?

Thanks in advance for your help!
