This reminds me of exquisite corpse. It's a surrealist game.

Speaking of raining music. I have to say here Yo La Tengo's "Summer Sun"? (not too sure of the title but its close enough) is a great summer, rainy day, hardcore sex listening. Indie type rock.

u r not alone in noticing this strange yet, soothing phenomena!!!

why soothing??? i hear u ask!!

because, it makes you realize no matter how much effort u put into something, 99% of the time it will be fucked up in the end....

why is that soothing?? i hear u ask!!

because, it takes away all the presure of trying to succeed all the time!!

i really dont know what the fuk im talking about half the time!! :D

Basic answer: Cause the entrophy increase. Why it doe's? Cause that's the essence of the laws of thermodynamics. Everything goes towards a completely mess. Physics you know...

Might be. Entropy is genuinely increasing (not sure is that a right term in English), but I don't think we can blame entropy on this. When I coil the rope most of the energy that I use in the coiling process is completely useless heat that increases the entropy. That way the entropy of the rope decreases (since it transforms from a messy heap to a coil) but on the same time I increase the entropy of the enviroment by multiple times compared to the entropy loss of the rope. That way the overall entroy is increased as is should be. The question is why the entropy of the rope increases even if there's no forces affecting the rope (since the rope transforms from a nice coil back to a messy heap in the trunk).

Edit: Than you for digging up this jewel of off-topicism.
