Isn't this more or less a model not as powerful as the Virus C, but more powerful than the Virus B? Why'd they do this?

I think it's Virus B with some more program flash to get new OS updates. At least I remember a mention that the updates of Virus B became tricky as the program flash started to run low.

To make the sellers of Virus B unhappy and the buyers of second-hand Virus B's very happy.
