Just out of curiousity, how close does Propellerhead's ReBirth come to the original 303?

I have never heard a real 303 live, only in 100,000,000 recordings.

I actually liked rebirth's 303 emulation. Like I said before, the sawtooth on a 303 is easy to emulate, it is the square that you can tell the diferences on.

Schh. the tb303 hasnt been used that much. h?h?, besides ReBirth sure sounds funny if compared to an real tb303.

Personally I found the rebirth emulator to be good for the higher frequency tb303 type sounds but it just can't do that 'hollow plastic pipe', 'digeridoo' type low down sounds that the original is sooo good at. The 777 is leaps and bounds better and closer to the original. Just my $0.02.

By the way a tb303, raw, straight into a mixing console and into a P A has to be experienced to be believed. Its quite special !!!! :)

I'd say that plug in some phones and of you go for an wonderful trip. I love the tb303.
