just go into multi/single mode to do it and then back into multi.

This shouldn't be necessary - the EQs are available for tweaking directly within Multi mode via Effects Edit. In fact, you can just hold down Effects Edit and use the the 3 effects knobs on the lowest row to adjust the Mid EQ parameters.

So, in answer to your question ddeez, yes ;)

man so all channels can be eqed individually...that is great. seems like this machine will b powerful.
