You can get an sh101 for half the price i belive.
But then again if your gas is uncontrolable go for it. :D

If you can get an SH101 for less than $450 aus buy and post it to me! The check's already in the mail

Thanks for the offer! But I already succumbed to the GAS and bought it. :) It was expensive, but in the end it's an old analogue mono, and worth it for me.

EDIT: Of course as the PSUs are inside the things, you'd have to grab a transformer or something if buying from overseas Jase.
yeah...I got a heap of them lying around cos of all the US purchases I got.

That was pretty expensive though Jase. Really hope you're happy with it. Remember it's a bass machine only, so make sure you switch to lowest possible octave selection and start from there.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Those Studer-pre-amps mixed with a little compression will be very nice with the CS for sure.

EDIT: Japan runs on 100v, but I think the US is 120v.

Well....just got confirmation that the CS10 has arrived in Sydney, has been processed for customs clearance, and is awaiting delivery :) :) :)

Should be here tomorrow....that'll keep the GAS under control for at least 6 months. Goddamm I have to work til 1:00pm, and I was planning to hit the gym after, AND I have uni in the evening. I wont be able to play the thing for a couple days, it will just be sitting there.

Glad it finally made it to in good shape Jase!

Have fun!

Let me know if there is anything worrying you that a fellow owner can try to sort out.

Won't be online heaps in the month or so though (as I'm in Ausi), but I'll answer when ever I get on. :D

Cheers HC...

I did have a question. There is a switch KBD with the option of S or M....what is this?

Today I hooked it up to my Boss distortion, phaser, and delay units....had a ball!!! Am about to hook it up to my bass POD and have a play.

I have no idea either! :D I was guessing that it may be something to do with controlling it by remote.

A bass pod will go down very well with it for sure. I've found that specific bass effects work really well. If you have a valve pre, definiately run that before your distortion stage Jase - chunky!!!

Certainly makes you wonder with all this talk about specs though doesn't it?!

"No mine is better! It's got 6 OSCs and yours only has four".

Pffff.....

Have fun with it mate!

Cheers HC...

Have another quick question. I tried to run my brothers electric bass into the CS-10 Input, but had no luck getting any sound. Is there anything specific I need to be doing to run signals through the CS-10?

Hope you're enjoying your trip home!

Jase
