nope, not laughing at all. I am in the process of moving so I am using a very minimalist setup at the moment as well. So you are essentially using your TI as a usb soundcard as well as a synth? So audio it going both ways over the usb cable? (if I remember correctly, you said you are just using the usb cable and not the analog outs of the synth)

I am using the analog outs to monitor it - they go to the inputs of my piano.

But yes, I am using it as my soundcard and synth.

interesting. How is it working out over usb? Any issues when pushing a lot of audio tracks out from the daw? Also, you are keeping all your audio at 16bit/44khz?

It's working out fine, really - I haven't found a problem with running audio tracks alongside the TI, but then I haven't pushed it in that regard tbh.

Yes, I tend to work at 16/44khz - I'm more of the mindset that what you do musically is far more important than worrying about bit depth and higher resolutions. It's not like a piece of music won't work because it's only mixed at 16/44.

i hope im not stating the obvious but have you tried turning up the master volume on the ti when recording via analogue outs?

it doesnt seem to use it when in usb mode.

yeah I did try that as well. Made sure the master was all the way, and even went in and turned the individual patch volume up to 127 - but even doing that it was quieter than when sending the default sound over usb. Definitely has to be something with my sound card and the conversion.
