Pretty much, an Access version of the Waldorf XT would be superb. I'd get an XT/XTk, but alas, no more Waldorf.

I believe that is adequately why waldorf went under...The XT/XTK did not seem like an acutely popular synth...

i think many people are afrid of above then simple to program synths
and the xt got the name of a complex synth and kind of hard to program |

I'd have to say a modular Virus would cause me to sit up and take notice a bit.
Before that though Access, please make some more filters for the VC. |
well im sure there will be a few more vc os updates before the next access product
|
I agree with tomer...im atleast hopeing there r more updates

Well new filter types might be inevitable...considering the ION.
There is one filter type I wont be needing and thats the JUpiter 8 b'cos Ive just got hold of another one (well my band m8 has atually). Unlike the JP8 I owned this one is mint from an anlogue dealer....cost nearly ?2000 though :( Goto http://www.vintagesynth.org/artists/ap_ub.shtml and listen to 'Botz' or 'Moondusted'. Then you'll understand why people still want to use true analog weeeeee....... Those piercing rising synth sounds are Jupiter 6 or 8 for sure. I love the dirtyness of pure analog tracks. DS |
i dont think access can use "the jupiter filter" because roland already trade marked it and used it again on their jp80*0
|
I'd much rather see new filter types than recreations of old ones. For me, the best thing about the new LP Analog filters isn't the 4Pole minimoog emulation - it's the self-oscillating 1Pole. I keep finding myself coming back to that filter at the moment, because that's where the new sounds are.
