I have this happen 1 in 20 ish. I use a power board with individual switches to save wrecking the back of the TI.

Get this:

I booted up my Ti first time and managed to switch it back to standby....................

WITH THE ARP BUTTON ONLY!!!!! 8O

I have since been unable to replicate this and it's gone back to it's usual boot up problems. It would still have been OK if it booted up via the Arp button, I'm not arsed which button turns it on so long as it's consistent.

Curiouser and curiouser....

I've just made the plunge and ordered a TI Keyboard...

Smag,

Who do you deal with in Sound Control? Sean is the guy who I usually deal with - I agree they are pretty cool about stuff there!

This was like from beta os to 1.07.

The same here ... it's not booting up properly and since 1.0.8. it's crashing every 5th minute. That's not an acceptable situation as it's not possible to work ...

And Access doesn't answer my support mails :(

Lets hope for a bottum-up update until we bring back our synths ...

Cheers,
glen (disappointed)

The V-synth is a very different beast - there is some overlap of course with dual osc sounds and hypersaw/megasaw.

I would have said an NL3 was more comparable if teamed with a decent fx.

Probably no help to you, but I dont generally have problems booting the TI unless it has just crashed - and that seems to depend upon the weather :)

I've been speaking to a guy called Mark and a woman who I think is a manager called Alison and they've been really helpful. Apparently they own Turnkey now and they're getting a replacement shipped up.l There's plenty of goodies in that shop it has to be said.

Access answered my query but just said words to the effect of "yes, it's knackered, we're working on a solution".

I'm prepared to try a replacement as the Ti sounds fantastic but if I get any more problems it's hello Clavia or V-synth.

The fact that I could boot it up using the arp button only I think points to the OS being knackered and (hopefully) not a hardware fault as I wondered initially.

Yep, I know them both - small world in it! Mark's the tall guy and Alison is sound and indeed the manager

Success! Had my desktop replaced for a unit that was earmarked for demo but had never been used. Brought it home and got 01.08 installed and it works a treat. Dead chuffed. Soundcontrol have got some fantastic staff. Cheers!! :D

So Smag, with your replaced TI, do you still ever get the lit blank LCD screen upon bootup, at all? :D
