I came over to Germany back in 1986 with the British Army did a stint in Northern Ireland in 88 came back to Germany,left the Army in 91 and have lived in Germany ever since working for a Brewery here in Dortmund...I have me English telly over here and hang round with loads of Brits which is great...I also Speak German like i do English so i can take the piss out the Hermans..(Matsa!! you speak finnish??)
Alot has changed since i left England For example Poll tax was just starting,i think its called council tax now...
There was also no CCTV when i left and the crime rate wasn't half as bad as it is now and as Ten says immigrants fucking everywhere..Its scary to even think about coming back....Will i Die with a Bratwurst in my hand or a bag of Fish and chips....? :shock:

Mmm. Bratwurst. Real ones from the Metzgerei. Nicht schlecht. So, I guess you work for DAB then, mate. Good drop that. Do they still do the Gold Foil (Export?) version? I used to live in Duisburg in the late 80's. Was working for Mannesmann DEMAG teaching English and proof reading. Great job, but Ruhrgebiet not my cup of tea. Fell asleep on that fucking S-Bahn a couple of times on the way home from D?sseldorf and spent some lovely nights in Dortmund fucking Bahnhof.

Finnish is tricky mate. I can speak great Herman, but Finnish remains an enigma. Speak decent Swedish (just like kraut) but not very useful in this part of the country. Some parts of Finland are Swedish speaking, but not here.

Well, since I have really changed my sleepingpattern again.. I haven't been able to call around with about me old homeinsurance.

EDIT: Everything I want for christmas is.. erhm.. I have no idea since this year everything has changed.. I used to want a quiet and calm weekend but it seems like it ain't gonna happen this year.

Yeah i work at the DAB,The last one in Dortmund as they all keep shuting down...
