Right for the time being I worked around the detuning problem by bouncing down and chopping audio parts that didnt have that problem, so i'll get back to that to suss it out as soon as poss.
anyway i'm on a deadline to finish a record, which is now finished apart from I am getting very slight digital crackles??? you can listen to the part here: www.janetbradford.com/STRINGS_VIRUSCH10.mp3 about 10 seconds in you'll hear the crackles and near the end aswell, it only seems to be on this part which makes me think its not a soundcard/driver/asio issue? (even though it does seem like that, but all other parts are ok) my records finished and this is the only bit that I cannot get rid of, maybe I should just leave the crackles there as it does replicate vinyl in a slight digital sort of way!!lol if your listening on a laptop you'll find it hard to hear the crackles, maybe plug headphones in or use monitors where is the sound coming from, is it on the virus sound itself? has anyone experienced the same thing? any help asap so I can finally put this tune to bed (p.s. the virus has caused me so much pain and wasted a lot of time making this record, but I couldn't have made it without some of the sounds!, access has me by the balls) |
I had the same problems with clicks and pops... I think it has to do with your latency issues on your ASIO driver

Hi sorry to kinda hijack this thread but I´ve been searching and this title and context ist the closest I could find.
PROBLEM: Cubase 5 MacBookPro TiSnow Os2.7.5 I´m trying to record the automation data from the LFO2. I can record the filter just by switching on R&W and then start moving. But this doesnt work for the LFO2 and others that are not listed as Controller Data in cubase. So I looked up and tested the parameters, I found an old CC List so this would work. But I want it to work just like the filter. I don wan to have to draw. Any Idea why cubase "sees" the Filter One but not the LFO2? Thanks |
Hi, this is covered in the manual on "VC used under Cubase". make a right-click on the desired knob on VC surface and apply "add parameter to automation". this should make the parameter visible in the automation lane.
