Saw that the first patch was StacHeavAG... 2-16 load INIT programs, yet, patch #1 doesn't write to the Virus. Patch #1 remains untouched.

Can you save your dump again?

Thank you so much for your efforts

You should be able to just drop it into the VC patches folder, start VC then load it into a part.

Am at work at the mo, so cant dump it again till this eve.

I did just open the midi file to check it looks like the right data and is a valid midi file - seems fine.

Thanks...correct, the MIDI file is invalid... yet I used the VC Browser and it loaded.

Did you load it OK in the end?

It loads fine into mine if i just drop it in the patches folder.

It a 4 partial sound - generally impossible to exactly re-create on the TI, but in this case were lucky as one of the partials is basically coloured noise. The rest are a couple of samples (tinkly bell and an organ) and a square wave.

As these are samples - then effectively they each have separate envelopes if you are trying to synthesise the result. *may* be able to get close - but I think its a complete b*****d to reproduce on a synth that doesnt effectively have per-osc amp envelopes or equiv because of a sample having its own volume envelope.
Could you not use multi mode for this type of patch, that way you can treat 4 parts just like samples, must admit I haven't done that much with them yet but I have a couple with a pads and some noise coming through them with beeps and bops etc, allows a VA to do some interesting pads.

Yes - but that would be cheating :)
