Some keys not working

Hi Everyone,

I've got a problem that developed a couple days ago. Some keys are neither working with local on nor transmitting midi. But there is a distinct pattern of 2 subsequent semitones every so many tones. So for instance the following keys are not working (F#1, G1, D2, D#2, A#2, B2, F#3, G3, D4, D#4, A#4, B4 etc...)

Any ideas? (I've rebooted, haven't relaoded the software though)

Paul

hey there did you ever figure this out? none of the keys are working on my new ti

secret dj, did the keys ever work? if so and they just recently stopped working, then I would recommend a system reset.

no they have never worked. I just got my Ti KB today and they have no worked....te synth works fine as a moduel but they keys do not work>? do you know how to do a reset on the Ti?? thanks

when you say the keys work fine as a module do you mean that when you press a key it is able to send midi data (to control external sound modules)? If that is the case, then I would suspect that you have a setting check along the lines of "Local Off" where when you press a key, it sends midi data, but doesn't directly trigger an on board sound. If this isn't the case, to do a system reset - 1)soft power down the synth 2)unplug the synth 3)hold down the arp edit key 4)plug the synth back in 5)after plugging back in the synth, wait a few seconds and then release the arp edit key.

thanks doc but no luck.what i meant was the physical 'keys' of my Ti KB do nothing.they cannot control anything....they are sending no info (note or midi..nothing...) the only way the synth itself worked as a sound module was....i used another synth i have to play the Ti sounds by selectingthe Ti as my output in Cubase...i did also try the reset but still ,no luck.

ok, definitely not good. I would contact your distributor (where you bought it) and see if they can do an exchange for you - sounds like a hardware issue going on there. Good luck!
