re>Access a Vs b Vs c sound quality / character ?

Greeting from non Virus user.I recently compared a Nord 1 to a 2 and 2x ? and they sounded Very different and others seem to think so.I wonder if anyone has an views on the sound of the 4 virus models a.b.c.ti and their difference. Is the A's tone more edgy ? or different than the b etc.I have noticed synth manufacturers like nord have been ' cleaning up ' there outputs to a point where the nord 3 sounds very bland to some ears and lacks the rough beauty of the early models>?does Access Virus suffer this .Am i better buying a mk A for its character or will a c give me equal feel and character ?millions of features dont matter but valve like crunched and ' flawed ' digital signal i love.

best regards

marke

I think the biggest difference is between the TI and previous series. It's a small difference, but the new D/A's do sound a lot better to me. The typical adjectives you hear when people upgrade D/A's: airy, open, more transparent top end, etc.

Doesn't make any of the C series patches sound that much different though, like I said it's a minor thing.
