I voted nord 2x. Imo it's the best of these. Easy to use and good quality sound. One of my next purchases.

Does it have to be a synth still in production?
Cos' if not i would go with the Virus A,300-350$ for that awesome virus sound.

no viruses since I already have a C

Its a toss up in my book, between the Nord 2 and the Radias.

The question to decide the issue is do you want a proven, known sound or a newer product that has yet to be fully explored?

I'd have a blast with either one.

Nord lead here. I love em. :)

Well, I didn't notice that Radias price had also gone down to 999 euros. So, it would be either Radias or Nord Lead 2x. I got interested in Radias aswell. Can anybody tell how the build quality compare to MS2000R? It seems that Korg have used almost the same enclosure for Radias as for MS2000R. Are the knobs better in Radias? How about the sounds? I'm really considering to get both Nord 2x and Radias later this year.

The build quality is very good. The pots could probably be a bit better, but the smooth metal of the box itself is very solid with a nice feel.

I personally didnt get on with the sound at all. VERY digital and harsh to the ear, its actually the only reason I sent mine back. The feature set and software front end are pretty cool, but that digital sound just made me want to vomit every time.

any sh201 owners ?

Yea, I had one of those aswel. Cheap plasticy feel to the unit itself again with cheap knobs/faders. Soundwise its just like a jp8000 with a few more bells and whistles. Software gui was cool and new arp/effects not to bad either. I would of kept it actually if I didnt need the space for my Andromeda. If they do a rack version I will get it again, good synthie for the money.
