I cannot figure out how to receive bulk dumps for the life of me

Cannot get my Virus to receive any sysex at all. It will send bulk dumps but I cannot load them at all. I've tried everything I can think of but the manual gives little to no information on receiving data. Please anyone have any tips? I believe I have things setup ok. Is there a button I need to press to get it to receive data, like how you hit store to send data?

Thanks in advance.

Nope, not working mate. I have sysex filter off in Cubase, Force to bank A and set to Omni... hit play in Cubase and my Virus does nothing at all, just plays the patch I was just previously on and no changes have been made to any of the other patches in Bank A.

Is it theoretically just a matter of pressing play in Cubase? Theres nothing I have to do to put the Virus in Receive mode?

I realize there are other posts up here about this, but the manual says f#@$ all about receiving dumps from a sequencer or whether there is a step required to receive bulk data or if it's just a matter of loading it into a sequencer etc... Anyone? I'm confused and kind of frustrated. I've called Access and they never got back to me regarding any of my questions and I'm kind of miffed at this point.

I was able to do it, using Cubase SX2 I think at the time. I cant for the life of me remember how to do it now, but it is possible, and Im pretty sure I figured it out from only the info in the manual.

Not much help, I know, but perservere young man, you'll suss it out
